Individual Therapy


Struggling with anxiety, inattention or illness can keep us from living a full life but doesn’t have to. Together we will identify barriers and learn how to move through them.

We will begin with an assessment of your symptoms, needs, and values. At the end of this assessment, we will provide you with our recommendations and an individualized treatment plan. This process will also allow you to get to know if your therapist a good fit. Therapy is an emotional and financial commitment. Take your time in choosing someone that you feel connected to.

“For example, Mary has the thought that she will lose control when she drives. She believes this thought and as a result is very anxious when driving. She has learned that if she avoids certain routes, she is less anxious and has less negative thoughts. However, Mary values independence and enjoys socializing with friends and family. Her avoidance gets in the way of her seeing them and living the independent life that she values. Mary is aware of this cycle. In therapy, she is able to identify what choices she has moving forward and how these choices can continue feeding into her anxiety or create the independence that is so important to her. Together, Mary and her therapist practice ways of interacting with her thoughts and feelings so she can commit to driving when she wants no matter what her Anxiety says.
